Bjorn Johnson has been training actors for over twenty years in New York and Los Angeles. His credits include teaching on the faculties of Circle-in-the-Square Professional Training Workshop, the Julliard School of Drama and Opera Programs, and NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Bjorn apprenticed to B.H. Barry for seven years, ran Michael Kahn’s private acting studio for three years, and has studied with Larry Moss since 1979. Bjorn continues to work as actor and director himself, drawing from his extensive background on Broadway, Off-Broadway, leading regional theater, television, and film. After coaching actors in LA for ten years, Bjorn opened his own studio in the year 2001. With his expertise and seasoned experience, Bjorn created a unique atmosphere for his students allowing them to drop their defenses, break through to higher levels, and most importantly teaching them how to overcome obstacles and succeed in all methods of acting. His refreshing style and honest feedback keep his studio growing with loyal working actors

Renata is a producer who has rich international experience, having worked in the US, France, and the UK.

She has created and brought to completion many projects whether they be short films, documentaries, music videos, or feature films. She is an associate producer on Belle, and in collaboration with Edward Bass on various other exciting projects.

A law student heralding from Rutgers University, Ali is a native New Yorker.

Escaping from Hurricane Katrina and a pair of heart attacks, he has since been engrossed in the world of film. Working with a variety of filmmakers, he is bringing a new touch to numerous upcoming projects of Edward Bass Films. Ranging from Indies, studio, and even music, his youthful energy contributes to many exciting projects, with an emphasis on the destruction of stereotypes regarding minorities in film as well as expanding diversity. Ali is also aiding Edward Bass’ “Born Warriors” initiative which encourages handicapable filmmakers to get involved in Edward Bass Films Projects.

He was raised in Cairo, London, and Paris, and accordingly is fluent in French, Arabic, and English.

On the flip side, he goes by the pseudonym Lipere d’Omar in publishing his written work, which includes poetry. This has gained him a new respect in the literary community and a widespread readership from the UK to the Philippines.

He composed the music for the CBS and Showtime series, The Paper Chase. John Houseman brought him back to score the music when the show was reprised on Showtime. The music was nominated for an Emmy Award. He also was an aid to Mr. Bass on Bobby.
